Torpedo is a young female who was in my team during each Yukon Quest I ran and I never had to drop her. She found the races a bit long at times, but since she only weighs 40 pounds, it was never a big deal to let her rest in the sled for a while. But in 2004, she had a little surprise for me: she pooped in my sled, right on my food. But I forgave her almost immediately, she is so cute. She makes real funny faces and always makes me laugh. | |
